Professional Guardian and Rehabilitation Support Service

A Guardian Ad Litem is an independent person appointed by a judge in court to represent the best interest of the child and the child’s own views regarding their welfare and future needs.

A Guardian Ad Litem will also monitor rehabilitation programmes and services and report to the court if such services are effective in meeting the needs of the child.

Galro specialises in representing the best interest of children, adolescents and young adults who have a disability. Assessing their individual rehabilitative needs, including basic welfare, educational, vocational and integrational needs.

Professional Guardians Ad Litem at Galro will also ensure individuals are protected during family crises and follow the individual’s progress as long as the court orders.
